Whilst Friday and Saturday were centred on classic and sprint downriver dominated by the youngs Cecilia Panato in the C1W and Leonardo Pontarollo K1M, Sunday was dedicated to the slalom races.

The third and last racing day, has seen the very best of slalom athletes competing along the challenging Noce river rapids.

Starting from 9.00 am, the main stage has been the 500 meter long section of Noce river in Mezzana, characterized by rapids of third-forth level that made fairly arduous the competition between the participating 110 athletes.

In C1 Women, the race between the numerous participants has been heavily influenced by the technically difficult course and many athletes were faced with penalties.  The winner was the only athlete to complete the race with a clean descent, Martina Rossi del Nervi, who bent the resilience of Elena Micozzi (Subiaco) and Beatrice Alducci (Valstagna). The race in the C1 Men category was very close, Roberto Colanzigari (carabinieri) won with a difference of one second to the second athlete, Raffaello Ivaldi (Marina Militare) and of two seconds to Paolo Cecconi (CCK Valstagna).

In the K1 Women category, Stefanie Horn had absolute monopoly, winning by six seconds to Elonora Lucato and eight seconds to Maria Clara Giai Pron. Predictions were met also in K1 Men, where Giovanni de Gennaro (carabinieri), who finished the qualifications in third place, won the Italian championship title thanks to an excellent performance in the final. Behind, with a delay of more than three seconds, Zeno Ivaldi and Christian De Dionigi.

One last note regarding the team race, with the duo Koco/Solimani winning the C2 Men and Rossi/Cavo wining C2 mix.

The final part of the day was dedicated by the extreme slalom races with the winning of Paolo Ronga K1M and Baldo Anna in the K1W.
